AFAG goes Dubai: The Elevator Show Dubai will be AFAG's first trade fair abroad in September

Nürnberg/Dubai – The new trade fair for the lift industry, The Elevator Show Dubai, is already experiencing great demand even before its first edition. The trade fair is aimed at the markets in the fast-growing MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) and India. Over 80 well-known exhibitors from 13 countries will present
their products and services at the first edition of The Elevator Show Dubai. The focus will be on lift components.

For AFAG Managing Directors Henning and Thilo Könicke, the move to Dubai is both an exciting innovation and a logical development: “AFAG has been organising trade fairs since 1947 and The Elevator Show Dubai 2024 will be our first trade fair that does not take place within Germany. We are delighted that many exhibitors are joining us on the journey to Dubai, the demand for the new trade fair is high and we are looking forward to the premiere."

The Elevator Show Dubai is organised by AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen, the organiser of the world's leading trade fair interlift, together with the leading industry medium Elevator World.

The trade fair is organised from Germany and exhibitors and visitors are looked after by AFAG's proven team, which also organises interlift. AFAG has already gained international experience by participating in numerous trade fairs abroad. The Elevator Show Dubai is now the first AFAG trade fair to be held abroad, with further international projects to follow.

AFAG Managing Directors Henning and Thilo Könicke see The Elevator Show Dubai as an important platform, in addition to interlift, which will take place in Nuremberg in 2025 as the world's leading trade fair for the lift industry: “interlift is the world's leading trade fair for the lift industry, yet there are countries and regions that cannot participate for very practical reasons, such as a lack of visas. As the first international industry event in this region, The Elevator Show Dubai is an important opportunity for MENA-based companies to do business with global manufacturers, suppliers, installers, planners, developers, architects, engineers and
investors."

Dubai is easily accessible internationally and many nationalities do not require a visa to enter the country. The exhibition centre meets the latest standards and there are numerous hotels in the surrounding area.

AFAG - Trade fair organiser with over 75 years of tradition

AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH is one of the most successful private trade fair organisers in Germany. Since the company was founded in 1947, AFAG has been organising trade fairs, congresses and events at various locations and for a wide range of industries and topics. AFAG's headquarters are in Nuremberg, with the company building in nearby Wendelstein.
